Sounds a lot like you and I are sitting in the same boat .. I also have a freezer that I thawed .. It is not always all easy.I move in the freezer for bottom. And then with a punch and a hammer to bust off the ice .. So it is in pieces and I put in the sink melt. The defrost will not work faster than if you do everything at once .. Then eventually you are using a dryer, if it is not really bad, like all the 2 months or less, but if I'm lazy and the ice is really bad, I use an ice pick .. Remember, the food will not melt at the speed, but if you stop thick ice .. It will lead to frostbite, and run your electric bill up.Cause the freezer is not working correctly .. Oh, and another when you are ice .. You get to a feast of ice on the labor market have to ... Hope this helps .. Oh, one more before you run a hair dryer, make sure to draw in the freezer and hold the hair dryer and the cord away from water and ice .. Melody Good luck
The first thing I update my freezer to thaw. But today, what I would do is thaw the food and call all your friends and have a party. Just tell us when and where. Now that takes care of food, then it would be a good time for an upgrade!
Not sure! I will ask my grandmother, and to contact you! Bye
You need to edit the content in an airtight container or place in a somewhat cooler. I would say every 6-8 months to thaw as needed.
Put thawed even more quickly, and you can thaw pretty quickly with a hair dryer. I use my mother-in-law, and chunks of ice fall from the others.

Do it every time there is an accumulation, put it in the fridge
